Terra Vista ministers to all age groups and endeavors to serve both local and international communities.  We promote congregational growth through revelant sermons, Bible study, praise, fellowship and prayer for each other.  In the community we provide CD media for shut-ins and prayer support for anyone with physical or spiritual needs. In response to Jesus' great commission, we help take the message of salvation worldwide by supporting several mission organizations.  Currently, we support nine missionaries with a resolve to support more.  We broadcast our Sunday morning service on YouTube for shut-ins and those unable to attend.

Terra Vista Baptist Church

Terra Vista's Sunday school is the heart and soul of our church. The keys to spiritual maturity are prayer and Biblical knowledge. To this end, Terra Vista is blessed with teachers enlightened with scriptural understanding.  We invite you to examine some of our Sunday school lessons at our TEACHING MINISTRY Link.

The youth at Terra Vista are very active in all facets of church ministry.  Each Wednesday evening, the youth meet to study the Bible or participate in any of several programs designed for raising good Christian citizens. The youth have their own dedicated and private meeting place, furnished to promote a bonding recreation and fellowship. The entire second floor of the Fellowship Hall (see adjacent photo) is dedicated for the exclusive use of our youth.

At Terra Vista worship is much more than listening to music, singing or playing an instrument.  It is an experience that draws us to the very heart of God.  Scripture tells us that the Lord inhabits the praise of His people, and we are honored and privileged to sing the praises of our heavenly Father. While the congregation listens and is encouraged to join us in worship, we lift our voices for an audience of one, our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Terra Vista is an evangelical church that supports world-wide missions to the lost. Currently, we support nine missionaries and continually add missionaries as donations permit.

Today, we must also reach outside the sanctuary to share the saving grace of Christ to the infirmed, uninformed, sick and lost within our community.  We conduct several yearly events that unites the community, ranging from providing meals, school supplies, back-to-school and Halloween parties and teen rallies.  We also use modern technology to expand our outreach.  While we are traditional in that we support missionaries to make God's saving grace known to the world, new technology permits us to offer additional outreach to our community.  Each Sunday morning our service is broadcast live via YouTube to our community and throughout the world.
